Los orquestadores de la candidatura presidencial de Xóchitl Gálvez no le han podido o no le han querido regalar un proceso interno de convalidación que la fortalezca y legitime. Todo lo contrario: ni siquiera ha terminado la primera fase de dicho proceso y ya han saltado, destempladas, las acusaciones cercanas al fraude electoral que estarían cometiendo las estructuras partidistas para allegar registros (firmas) a los precandidatos predestinados a ser perdedores en lo presidencial pero que, con este inflamiento de última hora, podrán alcanzar diputaciones y senadurías a costa de la hidalguense que, de no llegar a Palacio Nacional, como parece cantado, sería la única participante que se quedara sin ganancia real.
A diferencia de la rutina corcholatera cuatroteísta, que transcurre sin visos de división, apegados los participantes al libreto, si acaso Marcelo Ebrard jugando a la rebeldía menos que simbólica, el proceso del Frente Amplio se ha desarrollado con notable impericia política en cuanto al propósito final, la imposición de Gálvez como triunfadora oficial.
En el fondo, ese desaseo político obedece al carácter contranatura de tal alianza electoral y, sobre todo, a la enraizada cultura política del agandalle, el chantaje y el fraude electoral (interno o externo) que han caracterizado históricamente al PRI (¿qué esperar de Alito Moreno y Rubén Moreira?) y al PRD (Los Chuchos: no hay necesidad de decir más), pero también al PAN en etapas muy definidas (el foxismo creelista y Calderón en 2006 como ejemplo contundente; el cártel inmobiliario de la CDMX y gobernadores como Cabeza de Vaca, por dar ejemplos más cercanos a la etapa de Marko Cortés como líder blanquiazul).
La incapacidad del Frente Amplio por México para construir el espejismo de una participación decisoria de la sociedad civil está palmariamente demostrada: los partidos no sólo mantienen el control del proceso falsamente ciudadano (por ello no aceptaron aquel comité de elecciones original, al que en primer momento renunciaron la mitad de sus integrantes), sino que han impuesto su catálogo de mañas tradicionales para colocarle competidores fuertes a Xóchitl y condicionar la posterior aceptación del triunfo precocinado.
El déficit no afecta sólo la imagen o la percepción de este proceso, sino a la presunta beneficiaria designada, la senadora Gálvez que tampoco ha podido agregar atractivos serios a su precandidatura: se la ha pasado en actos que con frecuencia tienen menos asistencia de la prevista y, hasta ahora, salvo el carácter reactivo ante López Obrador y algunas fanfarronerías menores, Xóchitl no ha podido generar una idea central de campaña ni ha pasado de la ocurrencia, la risotada y el pedalazo eléctrico.
Por lo pronto, hoy se darán a conocer los nombres de quienes pasarán a una segunda etapa. Ya todo está negociado, según el colimense Jorge Luis Preciado, uno de los 13 presuntos competidores (habilitado por Gustavo Madero, entonces presidente del PAN, como coordinador de senadores panistas en sustitución del calderonista Ernesto Cordero en mayo de 2013). Por el panismo quedarían Xóchitl y Santiago Creel; por el priísmo, Enrique de la Madrid y Beatriz Paredes, y por el PRD, Silvano Aureoles.
